Indeed a Good Friday for The Royal Children’s Hospital with Villawood Properties and Henley raising a total $610,000 for the Good Friday Appeal with the auction of a complete house and land package today.

Fierce bidding saw a bevy of eager bidders raise their hands in order to secure the auction house located within the ‘Alamanda’ community Point Cook as part of the Good Friday Appeal 2010.

A long standing initiative, today’s fantastic result will bring the grand total of funds raised from the auction house over the past 18 years, to $10,184,840.74 – for The Royal Children’s Hospital Good Friday Appeal.

More than 400 people attended the auction, keen to see the sale of the premium double-storey, four bedroom home constructed and donated by Henley.

The Shand family were the successful bidders on the day, securing the ‘Eclipse Q2’ home. An 8-star energy rated design, the Eclipse Q2 features 42.5sq of living space with four bedrooms, stylish living spaces and outdoor alfresco areas.

Located within the ‘Alamanda’ community, Villawood Properties and ISPT proudly donated the land allotment, which is positioned just a short walk from a range of parks and the ‘Club Alamanda’ community centre.

All funds raised from the auction will go directly to the Good Friday Appeal.
